DASK (Doğal Afet Sigortaları Kurumu) is a system of compulsory insurance of residential and commercial real estate in Turkey against natural disasters.

With DASK insurance, in occurance of an insured event, the amount of the damage caused (calculated based on the value of the property registered in the TAPU) is reimbursed. 

The price of the insurance policy depends on the location of the property in relation to seismic zones, the area of the property, the type of its structure, and the year of construction.
