2.5 million tourists visited Antalya
The foreign tourists flow to Antalya has grown significantly after the lifting of restrictions on air communication with Russia and on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, reaching almost 2.5 million people since the beginning of the year. According to the Department of Culture and Tourism of Antalya, from January 1 to July 15 the "tourist capital" of Turkey was visited by 2,401,470 foreign tourists, and half of this number arrived in the last 26 days. Most of the tourists came from Russia, Ukraine, Germany and Poland. As noted by the Antalya media, last Saturday, July 17, became the record-breaking day. On this day off, 386 planes landed in Antalya, of which 105 are from Russia, 68 are from Germany and 44 are from Ukraine.
