Fishing season starts in Turkey

At midnight on September 1, the fishing season started with the traditional parting words "Vira Bismillah". After 4.5 months of the ban on fishing, the long-awaited bustle began in the ports of the Black, Marmara and Aegean Seas. Now the port markets will be filled with the freshest fish and happy seafood lovers. Customers will be offered anchovy, horse mackerel, red mullet, and from mid-September, fishermen are waiting for bonito and bluefish.
