Holidays in Turkey have been extended for one week

The Ministry of education of Turkey issued a statement, according to which homeschooling was extended until the end of the academic half-year. According to the Ministry of education, distance learning in primary, secondary, and high schools will last until January 22, 2021 (Friday), when the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year ends. School holidays will begin on the previously planned calendar on January 25, 2021 (Monday), but children will walk for one week more. The second half of the year won’t start from February 8, but from February 15, 2021 (Monday). The Ministry of education notes that in primary schools there will be no intermediate exams, grades in report cards will be determined by points for participation in educational classes.
