The Ministry of Internal Affairs has determined a list of prohibited goods
On Tuesday, May 4, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey sent a circular "Safety measures in stores" to the governorates of 81 provinces. The circular determines the list of goods prohibited for sale.
The new safety measures, mentioned in the circular, are:
In stores (including supermarkets), it is prohibited to sell non-essential goods
Starting on Friday, May 7, 2021, in stores (including supermarkets), along with basic food and cleaning products, only petfood, baby food and beauty products (except perfumery and decorative cosmetics) will be sold
In addition to the previously introduced restrictions on the sale of alcoholic beverages, the sale of electronics, toys, stationery materials, clothing and accessories, home textiles, auto accessories, garden supplies, equipment and tableware is also prohibited.
