Turkish electric tractors are ready to conquer the world
The development of a Turkish-made King-size electric tractor has been completed. Its serial production will start in June this year.
“We have 25 finished tractors waiting on our assembly line,” Önder Yol, the chairman of ZY Electric Tractor, told reporters. The chairman also noted that the company had already received pre-orders and sold a significant number of units. The project was implemented in joint with the state creditor Ziraat Bank. Today, the company can produce up to 1,050 units of tractors, and this figure, according to Önder Yol, is planned to be increased to 10,000 in the near future. The most important feature of the ZY Electric Tractor developments is that these tractors are quiet and do not emit gases, which is essential for use in livestock farming, where the comfortable environment for animals is important for milk production.
