The number of wind and solar power plants in Turkey is growing

Turkey plans to increase the number of solar and wind power plants so that by 2030 a third of all electricity received in the country will be produced by solar and wind. A plan has already been drawn up for the phased construction of such stations throughout the country. Solar and wind power plants are the most environmentally friendly sources of electricity. In 10 years, about 63 thousand megawatts in Turkey will be produced using wind and solar energy sources – the least expensive sources.
