The company Nevita, which analyzes the real estate market in Turkey, summarizes the statistics of the purchase of the real estate in the country by foreign citizens.
Over the past three years, foreigners have purchased an average of 40 thousand units of real estate in Turkey per year, while in 2013 this figure was only 12 thousand.
1.531 million foreigners live in Turkey. About 750 thousand of them have their own housing. That is, approximately every second foreigner has his own property. Since January 2013, foreigners have purchased a total of 216,000 properties in Turkey.
