The education departments of 81 provinces of Turkey have received a ministerial order, according to which some lyceums will open their doors to students from March 1.
According to the published document, the Ministry of Education will allow the following types of lyceums to be taught full-time:
• vocational schools
• multidisciplinary
• sports
• artistic
Practical and specialized subjects will be taught in classrooms, while theoretical material will be provided through distance learning. The number of classes in the classrooms will be limited to 24 academic hours per week. The training will be conducted by the rules adopted by the Ministry of Health.
